Last Friday...!

Last Friday was really surprising for me. Sitting on my office chair, i was busy in preparing report of an event and was totally puzzled with some figures. As usual the blue light flashed on my mobile phone and this time there was my father. I immediately picked up the phone and said, “ha Papa abi main office me hu, baad me baat karu kya???” but father said Mr TJ Thomas (my school principal) was sitting with him and he wanted to talk to me. “Thomas sir, wo St Joseph.. wale….” I remembered the 7 feet tall and thin man having dark black beard. As i seemed to be aspire to talk him, my father handed over the phone to Mr TJ Thomas.
We talked hardly for 3-4 minutes as he did not wish to disturb me at office. He expressed desire to see me and also invited me for visiting the school, my school. He was happy with my higher studies and said “Its good to know that my child has become a journalist, so... the journalist is coming to her school no?

OMGGGGGGGG, Thomas sir, after such a long time. After hanging over the phone, I started to sing “Aaj mai uper, aasma niche..aaj mai aage, zamana hai piche…”. Literally I was unable to speak for few minutes. Once I liked him too much and had crush on for him. I did not know whether he was aware of this ‘Bachpan ka Pyaaar’ or not but it was nice to talk to him, (Lol) :) He was our principal from class LKG to 5th  and at that time I was just a sweet girl who never completed her home work. :)  I’m happy to know that he remembered me even after 18 years. When I left the school in class 6th, I heard the heart broken news that he married with a teacher of the same school :( Any way, at this age I have lots of respect for the him just like my father.

Bansal uncle plz….Ati-Tatkal for the students

Recently I went to the railway station for purchasing a ticket to my home town. After standing two hours in queue, I did not get confirm seat in giant like railway compartments because all the seats had been already booked. So finally, I got myself satisfied with a waiting ticket and hoped to get that confirm after few days.

While purchasing the ticket I felt that there should be three categories for railway reservation. First one should be general (before 4 months of your journey), second one ‘Tatkal’ (before a day) and the third one should be ‘Ati-Tatkal’ (before 4 hours). I expected the new system with the railway minister in 2013 railway budget but unfortunately no one is there to listen my grievances.

However railway system has allowed to purchase the ticket before four months of your journey but neither me nor my family members have ever purchased the railway ticket before 3-4 months even we never get a reserve seat in tatkal as well. So I think, best way to travel in railway is 'waiting ticket'.  After boarding at the train with waiting ticket, TTE (Travel ticket examiner) will automatically allow you a confirm seat after acepting 50 or 100 bucks. I’m not talking about AC compartment of Indian Railway because I prefer to buy air ticket because that is comparatively low-priced and easy to get.

And if you don’t have too much amount to spend, just go for general compartment, you will reach at your destination any how, might be in torn clothes or with half of hair on your head. Our railway system is too good no? But the only thing I'm missing is ‘Ati-Tatkal’. I personally request the railway minister Pawan Bansal to accept my grievances and allow ‘Ati-Tatkal’ system for me so that I can travel freely anywhere and anytime. And if there is problem for starting the demanded system for everyone, he can allow this only for the students because most of time, interviewers call the students at evening hours and says, “ You have interview schedule tomorrow at 10 am in XYZ city”. Now, instead of concentrating on his exam, the poor guy start to screaming for his travel.

Useless people...

After so many days I want to share something with you people as it made me too much angry. Probably it is my first post after shifting to the new city.

Recently I met with someone who wanted to pay tribute to the martyrs of 16 December which is known as ‘Vijay Diwas’ and captain Bana Singh appeared as hero of the battle and hoisted Indian Flag at Sichen Glacier on 16th December 1962.
I do not remember the name of the person about i'm discussing because I did not find him much important. Apart from me he met with all media people here in the city and said that he was going to drive his car about 12,00km continuously. It was his way to pay tribute in a different way to the courageous soldier (martyr) who died for country in the battle. You know people here are too much eager to do something different bole to kuch hatt k karna hai. :(

And it was surprise for me that reporters from different media organisations were taking him seriously because he was going to drive continuously for 18 hours which was quite difficult.  But I did not gave him space in my newspaper because I had other important events. Next day, he gained lots of space probably in all newspapers of the city either English or Hindi.

Next day, at evening hours i was listening my favourate gazals of Jagjeet Singh and having yummy pasta. I was in a lazy mood because of my week off. Suddenly there was call from unknown number and i was not interested to receive that but anyway, i made my face and press the left green button of my mobile and said ‘Hello’. On other side there was a man and he started screaming. He said “Madam mai XYZ bol ra hu, aapne meri khabar nai lagayi, sab paper me aaya hai…” He was the same man who drove his car continuously for 18 hours to pay tribute.

I also talked him rudely and said “Mere pass dusri important news thi so nai lagaya” and I cut down the phone. He called me frequently but I did not receive his phone.

I’m really angry with the man. Why people do such stupidity? Weather it was a publicity stunt or kidaa that people usually have to see their photo in newspaper. If he really wanted to pay tribute to the martyr of the country, he could have various way. He would have hundreds of social welfare tricks but he chose driving that has burnt hundred liters of fuel which is quite precious. And most important, being a doctor, he wasted his time because he could treat poor or differently able children for free of cost and it will be a real tribute.

Its you cocoa!

Yuppie!!! Its international chocolate day. All chocolate lovers would have nice excuse to take delight of the rich and creamy texture of cocoa butter.
I think it’s hard to find anyone who doesn’t like chocolate as it tastes good. Nearly all of us love the chocolate that forces us to lick our finger. Of course, I’m also one of the cocoa lovers who feel loved and special one after taking it. Chocolates give me natural “high”. When it melts in my mouth, I feel true ecstasy with awe!!!
But unfortunately, today my chocolate bank has become empty. Its chocolate day and i could not control over my chocolate hunger. So I put a lot of chocolate flavoured body lotion on my arms and took a sigh of relief with it smell. Thanks to Vaseline that it has chocolate flavoured lotion. Smell of the body lotion has taken me into the chocolate world where i feel pleasure.

Anyway, I can’t let the day go without celebration, so I would purchase hundreds of chocolates varies from white, milk to dark. Really its you cocoa who make me feel like special and loved one. And today the international chocolate day has made my day chocolaty in a special way as i have achieved something i was waiting for last two years. So junta , its party time! I'm going to celebrate the day on high. :)

for you Mr D.

“ A person like you is hard to find, hard to lose and impossible to forget…!”

I hardly care for anyone who try to pamper me or show his concern for me (except family person or close friends). But this time something happened with me. I'm too much worried for someone who always accompanied me, loved me and showed his concern for me. As he has left the city just for few days, I’m feeling alone and really missing him bottom of my heart.
Last night, my eyes were sleeping soundly but soul was awaking and thinking about him. Despite being free from officials works, I could not enjoy the day. I took leave from office so that I could spend few hours with Mr D. But unfortunately, he has to leave for somewhere else and again I’m alone in the city. Yes I’m feeling alone and not able to concentrate on my work. I spent my day with the song, “Mai tennu samjhawa ki, na terebaju lagda ji, Tu ki jane payar mera, mai kara intezar tera!!”.
Today, I remembered all the moments we spent together from the day we met. I tried to judge all the fight i have done with him. Anyway, whenever I wanted to do something, his cool and calm appearance with sweet smile appeared before me and i forgot the work. I searched his facebook profile and peeped for his photographs. I also searched for the photographs of all the people belongs to him either his family members or friends. Even I have gone through a sweet day dream where we had lots of  funny conversation. Whenever he use to accompany me, i feel that life is too easy and comfortable but in his absence i feel that life is too tough and full of challenges.
Really, time seems to crawl when you miss someone you care, you can’t avoid thinking about him. I felt the same when I continuously text-ed hundreds of messages one by one even after being aware of the fact that he could not receive the messages because he would be out of network coverage. I started to talk the person even in his absence. I put my complaint before him, shared my happiness and also fight with him in his absence. Sometime I could not control over my tears and started to cry like a kid. I was waiting for his message or call throughout the day and hoped he might be also missing me.
