Colourful Roses

 I never realised when I fell in love with these colourful rose plants. Rose is a common flower found in several parts of India and it attracts people easily. Apart from being a sign of love and beauty, it has also a very good fragrance. One can grow these plants in their garden, balcony easily but it is not so easy to take care of them.  

In almost every princess's story, there is a rose, people compare the beauty of everything with a rose and most important there is a special day celebrated as "Rose Day". It seems quite funny, but this is true! 

The common colour of roses found in every part of the country is red, white, pink, yellow, and orange. There are also few rare colours like purple, black, light green, etc I have heard.  People say that a dark red rose is known as a black one but in actual there is no black or blue rose. Many colours of roses have been genetically developed in the laboratory. 

There are hundreds of species of rose with stunning shapes, sizes, and shades. This flower can make you smile and its leaves are used as both dry and natural.

Many of us do not know that we can eat roses and use their petals for colouring purposes. 

Some facts that i know about rose are: 

• Rose is also used for making perfume.
• It can grow tall if you plant this in soil instead of a small pot. 
• This is a common flower being used in foods for flavour, taste and colour.
• When it comes to decoration for occasions, rose always remain present there. 
• Roses are known as the oldest species of plant to be grown as decoration.  
• Colour of roses are known for different meanings like Red stand for love, yellow stands for friendship, white stands for peace, pink stands for elegance and organize is for energy and enthusiasm. 
• Rose is the national flower of the United States (US).
• One can get the seeds of a rose from its fruit which is known as rosehip.
