It was Sunday and I was free for the day as I took leave from office for the preparation of my semester exam.
But
obviously i'm not interested in syllabus books so I planned to visit the New
Market for shopping. I convinced my one of the dearest friend to accompany me. She was also interested for the visit and she needed few articles
from the market. We told each other the things that were to be purchased from
the market because we usually forget the list and after coming back to the
market we use to regret. We murmured and mugged up our list 3 to 4 times so that we would not
forget anything.
The sun was
on high and time was about 2 0’ clock after noon. However I never like to use
“Sun’s Cream” but when I peeped through our window, I did use of Sun’s
Cream while I also pressurized my friend to use that. J Anyways, you would find it quite
funny but it’s serious for me because I hardly use Sun’s Cream.
Finally we, leaved
for the New Market and I was driving my scooty while my friend sitting back. On the way, we again doubted that we would forget the things to be
purchased. Therefore my friend took out her letter pad and pen (undoubtedly a journalist use to keep paper and pen with her)
and wrote all the things we have to purchased while on the other corner of our
mind we were also deep firm for not spending too much money in the market.
We reached
the market and park the scooty in-front of Top n Town between two cars of the
first row (kindly attention, it’s important point of the storyJ). We wandered here and there in the
market and purchased several daily usage thing and also avoided some article in the list because we did not want to spend too much amount. However we made a list of 18 articles
but finally purchased hardly 7 to 8 and saved our money (one of the most
important quality of femaleJ).
At last, we
went to a juice corner but there were too much rush so we went towards the
other juice corner which was adjacent to the first one. As we got up and
proceed, the shop owners screamed, “Madam…madam….kya
chahiye apko..????” we replied “kuch
nai” and we sat to the other juice corner and finished our juice, felt
quite relaxed from the scorching heat.
We came to
the scooty and suddenly my friend screamed, “gadi
kaha hai, yehi to khadi ki thi…”. We searched for the scooty for 15 to 20
minutes and finally asked to an uncle standing near Top and Town. He told us to
check that at nearest police station because it was no parking zone. We went to
the police station and saw that police van was standing there and the scooty parked by side. We talked to the uncle sitting in the van and asked him about
scooty which was under his custody. My friend asked him innocently, “uncle kaise milegi wapas, kya karna hoge?” L, uncle said “fine lagega, 150 Rs”. My friend took out her wallet and count Rs
150 but suddenly uncle said that, “Beta
bas 100 hi de do jao le jao” and in this way we took the scooty and ran
away towards our home. Being a journalist (we both are reporter) we neither asked for the receipt nor we claimed to set it free without any charge (because of the credit of being a journalist).
