Top of the world…!

How amazing it is to be at the top of the world? Really I felt the same when I was at the highest peak of Satpura range. Since childhood, whatever I read in the books and watched in television, all that has become true when I met with 'queen of satpura'. My never-dying love for the city has been increased much more after visiting the place.
Yes I’m talking about the highest point of central India region (4,430 ft above) which is popularly known as “Pachmarhi”. The place is really rich in rare flora and fauna that leaves me in awe. J
I started the journey with few friends at early morning of Sunday (5:30) for the hill station that is hardly 200 km away from the Bhopal. Weather was cloudy, trees were dancing thoroughly and of course we were hungry L While moving towards the place we looked for several shops where we could have breakfast but we did not find the place.
On the way, we were just 10 km away from the destination and suddenly we were surrounded with the dark fog. I was forced to fall for them as it was awesome picture. I was totally blank when I didn’t find any gap between the river and sky (due to the fog). It seemed to me that neither there was sky nor land, everywhere was fog. Even we could not see each other. Gradually we headed our vehicle at the deserted road and found a little congested town between green valleys. We rented rooms to stay there and got refreshment. As it was 12o’ clock, we went for the nearby spots on the day.
Next day, early morning we left for the Chauragarh that included three spots : Bada Mahadev, Gupt Mahadev and the peak point of the hill. Bada Mahadev is a ultimate place where a Shivling is situated somewhere in a cave. A small fountain was also there. Combination of the idol of lord Shiva and fountain reminded me about the stories of Hindu God and Goddess that I heard in childhood. As per the stories, in ol’ days, when lady saint used to bath under the water fall, God or other passer peep for them through the bush and made love. After that the partner saint of the lady came and cursed the male, ‘ tumne dharm bhrast kiya hai, agale janam me tum daitya banoge”  J

Gupt Mahadev is a place where lord Shiva is situated in a little bit gap of two huge rocks. I entered into the gap of rocks like a lizard as it was too dark and there was not enough space to walk freely. On the mid way, I was too much scared that I shouted, “Muje bahar nikalna hai, I don’t want to go there” but other travelers did not let me move outside while they motivated me to proceed and shouted, " Har-har mahadev...1". Finally, I completed the short distance and got the darshan of Gupt Mahadev. J
Then we started to climb at the mountain for Chauragarh. We were too much hungry as well as tired. My legs were not allowing me to put a step forward but I kept them motivated. Each steps were leaving me into oh,aahh, ouch…! but I continued the climbing.  On the way, we asked with each and every passer who was returning from the top, “Abhi kitna aur chalna hai?” and made faces when they informed about the everlasting distance. After 3 and half hour we reached at the top of the mountain where an old temple of lord Shiva was situated. I felt too much religious and prayed to the God. At the top of hill, complementing magnificence of nature gave me the pleasure that I never had. My eyes remained close, mouth was open and arms were stretched. I shouted, “Wao…!”, breathed deeply and tried to absorb the air into my arms. It was really a pleasant scene that has been captured into my lenses (eyes) forever. I felt that I was at the top of the world.
The mesmerizing colours of sunset and sunrise of Dhupgarh (highest peak of Satpura) is really amazing. However there are several waterfalls that would be my favourite one but unfortunately I could not visit that.

During the journey, I personally realize that monkeys are the king of the place as they have constitutional right to seize your belongings. Even you have to offer eatables (prasad) to the monkeys instead of the God.

Ek Thi Tigress…!

Finally I have also watched the latest released ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ after a day. It's right that I have never been a dying fan for Salman Khan and his luccha style. That's why i was not interested for the movie at all. But, my friends around me were too much eager and forced me, so I watched it.

No doubt, Salman’s die-hard fans will definitely love the action bits and make the film successful. But for those like me, who weren’t fans of Sallu or Kat, it deserves 3 stars. Literally few scenes could not be digested and it reminds me of secquence of Jackie Chan that I used to watch in childhood. Of course the barbie doll's (Katrina) stunt leaves you in awe but I personally feel that Bipasa or Priyanka would perfectly suit with these actions. The story evolves around Indian officer working for  RAW and ISI agent Zoya. During the mission both meet and falls for each other. They have to chose between duty and love. Like traditional bollywood blockbuster, they chose love and run away.
Zoya’s character is plotted much better than Tiger. So movie should be named as ‘Ek Thi Tigress’ rather 'Ek Tha Tiger'. Movie lacks the dialogues and romance. More over i heard about the quietness of Katrina but i did not find it in the movie. In-fact she is looking unnecessarily painted with lots of make-up stuff . Costumes and jewelries are normal. There is nothing special which could be into trend for the youngsters. Few songs like Saiyaara and MashAllah are good. Overall watch the movie for one time entertainment.
Now i'm eagerly waiting for Raaz3, Barfee and Heroin. :)

My I’Day

I still remember my school days when I used to be fascinating for the Independence day celebration and having high spirit of patriotism. I participated in the cultural programmes that held in our school campus and also marched the parade with flags and banners.
That time, we believed that the most forefront position you have in the parade, the most intelligent and superior student you are. We gossiped with our friend, "Wo sir ki favourate student hai to usko front banner de diya aur hame line me piche khada kar diya."
I remembered all these things on Wednesday morning when I was sleeping soundly. Suddenly patriotic song, “Mere Desh Ki Dharti…” came to my ears and I murmured, “Oh its 15th August, its holiday…!” J And happiness of holiday let me continued to sleep into my bed till 12 o’clock. When I came to my balcony with a cup of coffee, I saw that children were chuckling with flags into their hand and they were looking decent in white coloured uniforms. It was complusory  for them to be present in the school. Of course they have reason…they would get sweets for free of cost. I think there is nothing as precious as sweets for the children.

Anyway, all these things remained me my school days when I used to be eager for the sweets. And today, all such things seemed to me so funny that I laughed at the children who were marching parade for hours. They were raising the mugged up slogans, “Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Desh Amar Rahe” etc. I’m sure half of them were unaware of the reason behind celebrating the Independence Day.
All the government buildings and political belongings were brightly decorated with electric lights and flag. Everyone enjoyed the day in several ways. For some it was the day to watch the latest released movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ while for some it was day to go for outing with their family members. Some people were also busy in bagging clothes and other household articles (obviously there were high discounts on each brands at the shopping mall)J. But I did not know how to celebrate the day. There was nothing new for me. I neither did shopping nor enjoyed the movie. The only thing I feel on the day was liberty from all the responsibilities and stress. I slept all the day and enjoyed yummy food.

Goodbye London…!

Now it’s time to pack-up from the London and start preparation for welcoming Brazil (Rio de Janeiro) in the year 2016. The Indian Olympic 2012 story concluded on Sunday with shortage of gold medal while USA has reclaimed its first position from China after winning truckloads of gold.
In the event that continued for the 17 days, some of the countries celebrated, some disappointed while some became angry. Most of the gold were sucked up by USA (46 Gold) and China (38). There were 26 sports activities and 960 medals in which our country participated in 13 games with 81 participants and won 6 medals including 2 silver and 4 bronze. Indian celebration started with the bronze of Gagan Narang in 10 m rifle and concluded with silver of Sushil Kumar. Meanwhile, Vijay Kumar (pistol), Saina Nehwal (Badminton), MC Mary Com (boxing) and Yogeshwar Dutt (wrestling) have also won the bronze and silver. I also heard about the dehydration problem of Sushil Kumar but I don’t know how far it is true. And whatever he was suffering from but the games are all about the final performance. Overall, our country finished the game on 55th rank.

Happiest moment of Olympic 2012

Even after 80 percent blindness, South Korean archer Im Dong-hyun set a world record in the 72 arrow event. And Oscar Pistorius reached to the final round of men’s 400 meters and 4X400 relay with his anchor legs. For India, Sushil Kumar won silver two times continuously.

Saddest moment of the event

I’m little bit upset with our hockey team that could not win a single match this time. Their Olympic experience will be remembered always. There were few badminton players from South Korea, China and Indonesia who were indulged in match fixing, made the moment shameful.

Event toppers...

Michael Phelps (USA) won 4 gold and 3 bronze from 7 events of swimming. Athletics Usain Bolt (Jamaica) won 3 gold in all the 3 events and set a world record in 4X100m relay. Mo Farah of Great Britain won 2 gold from 2 events.

India after 1896…

Since 1896, India has 9 gold, 4 silver and 11 bronze over 30 Olympics. Anyway, in comparison to the last Olympic (2008) this year our participants have performed better and left hope for the best game in 2016.

Other countries...

Spain have continued a poor game as Rafael Nadal was unable to suck the gold. Canada has won only one gold, Australia have reduced their medals and Germany became shameful because of its own athletes. And of course USA and China presented a cut throat competition and sucked all the gold.

A confession...

We usually like to do several mistakes in our daily life and find it too much funny. But when we ourselves become victim of the same incident, we realize our mistake. Same happened with me on Tuesday morning.
However i like to be soaked in the rain for hours but this time i was waiting for the clear sky. Finally rain stopped and it was dazzling after heavy down pour that left the ground muddy and stored with water everywhere at the road. I was going towards Arera colony E-7 for the daily task. Suddenly, a car that was comng behind me stepped into one of the pitches filled with water and splashed the dirty water on me, "Chapaak...!" "How careless he is?" i screamed immediatly. I was wearing blue t-shirt and black jeans that became dirty due to the muddy water (Thanks God, i did not wear the light coloured dress). After that i was in dilemma of returning home and changed my dress.
I abused the car driver as batameez, idiot, no-sense etc. But at the same time i realized the mistake that i did few days before. Actually, i have also done the same with someone at the road. Few days back, i was driving my scooty and a girl in white was going with her umbrella. I found it very funny to splash the dirty water on her knowingly. After doing the mischief, i laughed too much with my friends.
But i do not understand why people use to wear such light coloured dresses in the rainy day. Everyone is aware of the incident that could be happened at the road in the rainy day. But even after being aware, people like to get ready in full-fledge white colour. So i think such people should have punishment like that. And this is my personal request with each and everyone that if you see anyone moving freely at the road in white coloured dress, kindly splash the dirty water (only in rainyday) J

Friends forever...

Friends are those rare people, who ask how we are and then wait to hear the answer. They pretend to forget our birthday and later give us a big surprise. Let’s celebrate the day for our buddies who establish a Tom & Jerry relationship that keeps our heart alive.
Cheers to all buddies who are responsible for most of the smiles and madness quotient in my life. Friendship is a word that cannot be defined. It can vary from greeting cards, gifts to bunking classes. Friendship is not only gathering details on slam book, it is beyond our emotions, feeling and love. Sometimes they seemed to me like a partner for sharing lunch box, sometimes a company to bunk the class, sometimes a shoulder to cry and sometime a hand that patted the back saying, “come on… you can do it”.

Someone to share the lunch box

When I was studying in KG class, i did not know about the friendship. But Pankaj and Neha were my best friends. We shared our lunch box, books and homework. We played chor-police, hide & seek at our lunch time. Sometimes we also prayed for each other when one of us punished by the teacher. We kept the odd names of the teachers J After a year, my parents enrolled me to another school where my sister was studying. But I was too much stubborn that I bunked the class in search of my ol’ friends and lost my way. Thanks to unknown uncle who took me back at home after several queries. Being angry with the incident, my parents took me to another school, “St Joseph School”, class UKG.

A buddy who deserve the best greeting cards

I was scared with the new environment but I never knew that God had a surprise package for me. When I entered to the new class, Pankaj was also sitting there while Neha’s family turned as our new neighbour. What a surprise, unbelievable…! Gradually,I earned lots of friends: Shivani, Preety, Gulshan, Sumer, Sumeet, Ravi, Ashish and many more. We played in the field, drew funny picture to tease each other, painted the black board, spoiled notebooks and when we fought, replaced our seat. At that time we were too much conscious for the greeting cards. Best friend deserved the best card.

Dreamt together to be doctor, engineer, teacher and air hostess

Again after class 5th I had to change the school and enrolled in another school. There again I found few of my ol’ friends. Of course, they were in another section but in the same campus. There again I was involved in friendship of; Shashi,  Pushpa, Bhanu, Sweeta, Aparna, Rohit, Devesh and many more. We dreamt together and planned for future. Unaware of the future, everyone had a dream to be doctor, engineer, teacher or pilot and of course I dreamt to be an air hostess.  When there was annual function in our school we made our own group to participate in cultural programmes. For the shake of best buddy, we participated in the game that we never played.

Friends for group studies

Unfortunately i had never been in the same school or college for long time. So again i changed the school into class 9th.
There I found friends who were everything for me. We started to spend time at each other’s home and divided the portion to study. While studying our topics, we also discussed the movies and songs. Our group became our world own where we shared happiness, discussed problems. We taught each other during the exams and also compete each other.

Bunking partner

It was time to move towards the college life. Again I interacted with new buddies in the university campus. There friends were totally different for me. They proved to be best partner in bunking classes, became best counselor for patching up the love-affairs J I was also attending coaching classes for admission into professional courses. So i also learned to manage friendship with two different group.

A critic, appreciator and a cheater who tags secret photos on FB.

I was a fresh graduate and entered to a professional course. It was an important step of life where I have opportunity to polish myself for the future. There I have dozens of friends who criticized me, appreciated and suggested me. They made every moment memorable. We tagged secrets photographs of our buddy on facebook that gave chance to fight throughout the night with few comments.
I'm pretty lucky in terms of friendship as I've hundreds of friends. And of course they all are trustworthy and too precious for me. It too easy for me to be in friendship with anyone.
No friends are perfect...
We argue, we fight...
we even stop talking to each other at times,
but in the end friends are friends...
The love will always be there.

Koi hai…

Last night I heard about the upcoming bollywood thriller, “Raaz-3”. The news made me curious for,“Raaz-2”.
I searched the movie on internet and started to watch. In the first half of the movie, Prithavi (Imran Hasmi) stares Nandita (Kangana) and follow her at the parking place and after that he prepare her bloody painting. Watching all that i was also scared. But in the second half of the movie the more horror scenes appeard, the more I laughed. I felt that I was watching a comedy genre instead of horror. Especially the dialogue, “Tum asuddh ho, sad chuke ho” seemed to me the funniest and I murmured the dialogue throughout night.
However the movie could not generate thrill for me but it made me eager to watch few more bollywood thrillers. So I searched few more movies like ‘Bhoot’, ‘Bhoot Bangla’, 'Aag' and many more on the internet. After watching such bollywood thrillers I learned that women should be always cautious. All the bhoot, chudail and tadapti aatma who wants to take revenge targets the female only. So Mr Dude, you need not to be worried. If the ghost would be standing in-front you, you won’t be able to see them while your female partner can see it very well. And you won’t believe when she tell you about the ghost and you prefer to go to the doctors. But of course you love your girl, so finally after interval you start to believe her.
Oh…! I forgot to tell you one more interesting thing. The ghost with unorganised hairs, ugly face and stony eyes like to attack the girl when her hubby leaves for office. One more thing is there, the girls have habit of walking here and there at mid night. Sometimes they also like to go for water into their kitchen and there they get to interact with the ghost. By the way I would appreciate the girls for being so courageous that after suffering from the ghost they have stamina to ask the ghost boldly, “Kun ho tum? kya chahate ho? kyu mere piche pade ho?”
Although I was watching a horror movie but it seemed to me quite funny. But as soon as I finished the movie and went to my bed I was scared. When I went to the washroom, light got switched off. I thought ghost would be there. I could not sleep alone at the night and shared the bed with my roommate. Even I could not go to pee at night because of the stupid ghost. Window, door, curtain, fan, trees, wind, and dog barking everything remind me about the ghost throughout the night.

Gonna miss everything…

As Rakhi celebration is around the corner, people are filled with festive spirit. Markets are abuzz with colourful Rakhi and sweets.
I also want to enjoy the day with my handsome and cute brothers. But due to some reasons I could not go to my home. How sad it is na? Hundreds of tags on facebook and tweets on twitter remind me ol’ days when I celebrated the festival with my family members. I hope again there will be the same scenario at my home as it happened every year. Again father won’t be able to tie Rakhi on his hand and asked for the help (Buaa ji use to send Rakhi to my father as she is living far away). However every year he used to ask me for the help. But this year, he might be asking for the help from my brother. And obviously, my brother will also ask him for the help.
On other hand mummy will be busy in celebrating Rakhi with mama ji and mami ji and she will feel proud that she is along with her bro (and papa will feel jealous of her..hahahaha) J
Relatives will gather at my home and will share sweets. Sounds of laughter will buzz the corner of my home. Mummy and mami ji will remain busy in the kitchen. I know it very well; when mummy will be free from relatives, definitely she will call me and will ask for my routine while Papa ji will pamper me. And of course younger brother will make background and tease me, “di tumara gift nahi milega…!” L
However I have couriered the colourful Rakhis to my brothers but still I’m going to be missed everyone and would feel alone here. I’ll miss the teasing dialogues of my handsome bro and several demands of my cute younger brother. I’ll be missing the excuses of my brother that he use to present every year to avoid the gift. But of course after few minutes he himself gives me a big surprise that forced me to hug my bro with quite smile on my face.
