Cocktail

Finally I have also watched the typical bollywood love triangle between best friends titled Cocktail.  I was eagerly waiting for the movie and it stood up to my expectation. The movie is nice, enjoyable and funny because of the catchy dialogues and of course songs are the topping on the cake. But i found the second half li'l disappointing and even after that I watched it twice.
The story is about the cliched love triangle in bollywood that ends with the sacrifice of one person. The scenes were easily predictable like when Veronica meets Meera, its easily assume that she will take Meera to her home; Veronica would meet an accident; now she will sacrifice her love and such other things.
Deepika (Veronica) is seen similar to her other character that she has played; a bindas girl who parties hard and lives life to its fullest. Her entry in all of her movies are almost same. Diana (Meera) on the other hand looks fresh, sweet and modest Indian girl while Saif (Gautam) in his old ‘Love Aaj Kal’  awtaar flirting with girls no matter where he is.  Boman (Gautam’s uncle) was an entertaining element of the movie while Dimple justified the role of Gutlu's mother.
Songs were good, especially Second Hand Jawani, Tumhi ho Bandhu Sakha, Yaariyan and Angreji Beat. But there was something missing that could not let me digest the entire movie. Like other ol’ movies washroom played important role here also. It is the same place where Veronica meets Meera and take her to her home..
What i liked in this movie, among others was Meera’s dress, her loose trousers and black-white striped t-shirt with loose shrug were very attractive.
